Fundraising Policy

Fundraising activities provide needed financial support for parish and school programs that promote the teachings and beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church. The Archdiocese encourages fundraising activities to be grounded in the Church’s mission and seeks to clarify those fundraising activities that are acceptable with regard to the Church’s tax-exempt status. As a non-profit organization, we must abide by certain restrictions on how we raise money and how our property is used. The following policy for fundraising activities applies to all archdiocesan parishes and schools. Where applicable, it incorporates the archdiocesan Alcohol Policy and the Contract Review Policies and Procedures.
