Living in God: A program for Contemplative Life

Course Description
Life and ministry can take their toll on the prayer life and effectiveness of priests. Many rely on annual retreats or days of recollection for renewal, without much lasting effect.

Contemplative prayer is a way of experiencing God’s presence directly. The grace of that experience empowers us to act in new and transformative ways. Making contemplative prayer an integral part of daily living supports healthy and fulfilling ministry.

This 12-week interactive online course in contemplative prayer and action, facilitated by Msgr. Nicholas Amato, Ed.D., provides an opportunity for ongoing engagement in this type of prayer within a small community of learners.

The online format, divided into two six-week sessions, is designed to fit easily into a priest’s ministry schedule.

Questions about the course content or format? Contact Msgr. Nicholas directly for more information.
